Overview

Titanite Demons are heavy, stone-like creatures with visibly incomplete bodies, a long tail and a pole weapon. Their damaged appearance does not make them harmless: they use sweeping attacks, sudden movement and the Titanite Catch Pole's power to threaten the player. Encounters recur in several areas of Lordran, often guarding routes or occupying constrained spaces.

The associated material and weapon descriptions connect these demons with legendary titanite slabs and a departed blacksmith deity. That limited origin belongs to Dark Souls' item-based storytelling, not to real minerals or every demon in the setting. Individual encounters differ in strength and whether the creature returns after defeat. The alternative label Prowling Demon should be recorded as a naming variation, while the creature's missing parts should not become an unsupported story about a single historical injury shared by all specimens.
