Overview

Deepstalkers are small predatory creatures whose long necks end in tooth-filled mouths above a compact body. They are strongly associated with the Deep Roads, where groups can surround prey rather than relying on one animal's size. The franchise distinguishes forms that spit harmful secretions, leap onto targets or distract an opponent, making cooperative attack behavior part of their identity.

Origins introduces them as recurring subterranean enemies, and Inquisition returns them in caves and other locations. Their smaller scale does not make the group harmless, especially where several kinds act together. Later games revise resistances and faction labels, so a weakness listed for one encounter should not be presented as permanent physiology. This account follows the recognizable neck-and-mouth design and pack role without inventing a single unexplored breeding cycle or equating each combat variant with a wholly separate fictional civilization.
