Overview

Spirit jellyfish float above the ground as luminous, translucent shapes rather than swimming through water. Many remain calm until threatened, changing their appearance and attacking when provoked. Their soft glow can make a graveyard or nighttime landscape seem peaceful before combat begins. One can also fight beside the player through the Spirit Jellyfish Ashes.

The named spirit Aurelia has a particular history, and a reunion with her sister Aureliette gives this monster form a poignant individual story. That quest should not imply every jellyfish is one of those two characters. The ashes' item description and sister's dialogue support selected claims about identity and memory, while poison attacks belong to the encounter and summoning systems. The profile keeps these spirits distinct from real jellyfish and from assumptions about a universal origin for every floating specimen.
