Overview
The Rito are avian peoples whose wings, flight and mountain or island homes make vertical space central to their portrayal. The Wind Waker introduces a community within the Great Sea's geography and gives that version a particular relationship to earlier Hyrule. Breath of the Wild's Rito Village presents a substantially different design and social setting.
Revali's skill and ambition belong to an individual Champion rather than a universal personality. Connections between the two games' versions should follow the published timeline and the evidence in each game; resemblance is not enough to invent a single seamless biological history. The recurring idea is a people whose movement through the air shapes architecture, travel and everyday life.
