Overview
Odogaron is a red Fanged Wyvern found prominently in the Rotten Vale of Monster Hunter: World. Its lean body, exposed-looking musculature, teeth and long claws create the impression of a relentlessly mobile ground predator. It darts around opponents with combinations of bites and slashing attacks; its claws can cause the game's bleeding condition, which requires a different response from elemental damage.
The Rotten Vale links the monster with carrion and the circulation of dead animals through the ecosystem. Odogaron can carry food and fights other inhabitants, giving its aggression a place within World's environmental storytelling. Iceborne's Ebony Odogaron is a separate subspecies with dragon-element behavior, not a color change that licenses transferring those attacks to the red species. This account covers the ordinary monster and its returning expansion encounters, rather than providing one universal combat formula for every appearance.
