Overview
In the official Talkie Toaster fiction feature, Legion is a gestalt being whose mind reflects the people occupying his research station. Created by scientists, he later incorporates the Starbug crew’s conflicting personalities. He describes combining Rimmer’s resentment with Kryten’s compulsion to help, leaving him hostile yet eager to serve.
The comic interview contrasts his cultivated hospitality with his willingness to imprison visitors. He recalls preparing an elaborate meal for the crew and indulging his talent for sculpture and painting. Rimmer admires one apparent artwork’s stark lines, only for Legion to reveal that it is a light switch.
