Overview
Kirsh trains Prodigy's first Hybrids, treating their artificial bodies as a chance to move beyond humanity. After the Maginot crashes in Prodigy City, he accompanies them into the wreck, accesses its computer and directs the recovery of its specimens. He brings the captured organisms to Neverland Research Island, where protecting Kavalier and containing the creatures become part of the same assignment.
In the specialist account, his laboratory work includes removing a Facehugger embryo and placing it in a preserved human lung. He also identifies Wendy's ability to hear the aliens. His surveillance of Slightly helps turn a supposed betrayal into a trap for Morrow's team. Yet control breaks down: after fighting Morrow, Kirsh is restrained by the Hybrids and imprisoned alongside Kavalier when Wendy's group seizes power.
