Cynthia Dietrich

Overview

AvPGalaxy's film account places Dietrich with the Colonial Marines investigating the silent Hadley's Hope colony. As the squad's medic, she examines Newt after the child is found alive and identifies minor malnutrition. She then accompanies the search into the atmosphere processor, where the missing colonists have been fixed to the hive walls.

After a Chestburster emerges from a surviving colonist, Dietrich helps burn it. The disturbance awakens the surrounding aliens, and she fails to spot one concealed nearby. It seizes her and lifts her away; her discharged flamethrower strikes Frost and the ammunition he carries. The survivors later understand that she was taken as a host. Her eventual death's precise cause remains uncertain in this specialist account.
