Overview
Deviljho is a powerful green Brute Wyvern built around a huge head, broad jaws and muscular hindquarters. Introduced in Monster Hunter Tri, it became recognizable as a roaming predator capable of intruding into hunts for other monsters. Its swollen musculature when enraged and sweeping dragon-element breath give it threats beyond bites and body impacts.
Monster Hunter: World added Deviljho after launch, retaining the disruptive role of an animal that confronts other large species and can carry smaller victims in its jaws. The ordinary form should be distinguished from Savage Deviljho, whose heightened aggression and attacks belong to a named variant. Popular anecdotes about the creature are not all established ecology: this entry does not repeat the unsupported claim that it routinely eats its own severed tail. Its appetite and intrusion behavior are described only within the documented game portrayals.
