Overview
The Resident Evil Podcast identifies Josh as the West African BSAA’s Delta Team captain and Sheva’s former trainer. His unit rescues Chris and Sheva during the Kijuju outbreak, but a later Ndesu ambush leaves him its sole survivor.
He helps pursue Irving by speedboat, then returns despite failing to secure permission for reinforcements. Finding Jill unconscious, he assists her recovery and fights beside her toward evacuation. After their pilot Doug is killed, Josh takes the helicopter and ultimately airlifts the survivors from the volcano. The account presents this continuing rescue work as an extension of his responsibility toward his colleagues.
