Overview
Fang is a l’Cie whose earlier victory joins her fate to Vanille’s. Together they defeat Orphan and become a crystal pillar, preventing Cocoon from colliding with Pulse. The two remain asleep for centuries while the pillar holds Cocoon above the world.
In Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, they have awakened and initially live under the Order’s care. Fang then leaves for the Dead Dunes to seek a lost relic. Reunited with Lightning, she explores ruins beneath the desert and fights beside her against enemies difficult for either to face alone.
