Overview

Blurrgs are strong two-legged creatures used as mounts and beasts of burden on several worlds. Their rounded bodies and powerful mouths can suggest docility at a distance while concealing a capacity for aggression. The official Databank places them in agricultural work as well as military travel, including use by Twi'lek fighters and clone troopers.

The Mandalorian gives individual blurrgs a practical role in a travel lesson and a relationship with a handler. That story is one use of the species, distinct from earlier appearances and Legends-era material. The Databank also supplies a particular mating-related behavior, but this entry does not expand that sentence into an unsupported reproductive system. Domestication should not be mistaken for harmlessness or identical temperament, and their fictional bipedal anatomy does not establish kinship with an Earth animal simply because it looks familiar.

Canon & continuity

Lucasfilm's exact Databank entry supplies the creature's identification, selected physical or behavioral traits and screen appearance list. The named film or series provides the narrative example. Short catalogue descriptions do not support a complete invented biology. Episode-specific details, film edition changes and additional Legends material require their own evidence; no extended official text or artwork is reproduced.
