AI concept of Bidayuh community accommodation and research, with imagined buildings and writing tools.
Setting, tools and layout imagined; not ethnographic evidence.
Overview
The Dayak Bidayuh National Association recounts how communities separated by dialect, region and religion organised together. The Bidayuh National Association registered in 1955. Members later supported a Kuching rest house and headquarters, opened in 1963, offering accommodation and a shared institutional base.
DBNA’s heritage account encourages research and writing about Bidayuh history, languages and ways of life. It presents cultural knowledge alongside Malaysian civic belonging. This is a selected association account of collective work, not a claim that all Bidayuh communities share one language, religion or viewpoint.
