Overview

The Wiradjuri Condobolin Corporation describes programmes preserving and revitalising Wiradjuri language and cultural practices. Its language centre works with Wiradjuri and several other named language groups.

A September 2011 government release records the opening of the Wiradjuri Study Centre in Condobolin. It traces the project to a 2003 ancillary deed between Wiradjuri Traditional Owners and a gold-mining company.

The release describes the centre’s planned education and employment role in Condobolin. A ministerial quotation refers to the wider Wiradjuri nation; the Condobolin corporation is not treated as every community’s governing body.
