Overview
Veemon is a small blue dragonlike Digimon with a white belly and a prominent forehead marking. Bandai's reference describes it as a survivor of an ancient lineage able to use Digi-Eggs for Armor Digivolution. Its ordinary attacks emphasize direct physical effort, including spinning punches and a forceful headbutt, while the armored forms reveal very different kinds of power.
Adventure 02 makes one Veemon the partner of Daisuke, called Davis in the English dub. Their bond connects the form with courage, friendship and the changing struggle against the Digimon Emperor. The partner later develops ordinary and combined transformations as the story progresses. This individual is not the biography of every Veemon in games or reference lore. The Beginning revisits the partnership in adulthood, providing a later treatment without making the species' branching evolution rules universal.
First appearances & development
Multiple continuities; selected Digimon Adventure 02 (2000). This entry follows the version represented by the primary works listed below, rather than treating the name as a single creature shared by every adaptation. Reference Book designs and television individuals are distinct; branching Digivolution routes vary by product and continuity.
Canon & continuity
Bandai's exact species page provides the form's reference classification, named attacks and descriptive lore. Digimon Adventure 02 supplies a separate primary portrayal of a named individual or transformation. These sources are complementary: the reference profile is not a transcript of every anime event, and localized attack names can differ from the Japanese text.
