Raidramon

Overview

Raidramon is an armored quadrupedal Digimon with a dark body, blue protection and lightning-shaped structures on its head and back. Bandai's English reference uses the name Lighdramon and connects the form with the Digi-Egg of Friendship. Its weapons project electrical attacks, and its running movement contrasts with Flamedramon's upright fighting style.

Adventure 02 uses this as another armored transformation of Davis's Veemon, associating friendship with a different answer to danger. The form can carry a rider and contributes ground mobility as well as combat force. Naming differs between the familiar English anime localization and the official reference page; the two are recorded here as the same design rather than invented separate species. Game evolution requirements and the exact attack names should be checked in the individual product, since armor routes do not work identically everywhere.

First appearances & development

Multiple continuities; selected Digimon Adventure 02 (2000). This entry follows the version represented by the primary works listed below, rather than treating the name as a single creature shared by every adaptation. Reference Book designs and television individuals are distinct; branching Digivolution routes vary by product and continuity.

Canon & continuity

Bandai's exact species page provides the form's reference classification, named attacks and descriptive lore. Digimon Adventure 02 supplies a separate primary portrayal of a named individual or transformation. These sources are complementary: the reference profile is not a transcript of every anime event, and localized attack names can differ from the Japanese text.
