Talz

Overview

The inspected Lucasfilm portrait shows a white-furred humanoid with four eyes arranged as a smaller upper pair and larger lower pair, plus a projecting mouth tube. The Databank's cultural account concerns Talz communities on Orto Plutonia, whose villages were concealed in ice canyons and included hide-covered huts built on bone frames.

Pantoran scouts had overlooked this population, leading Pantora to claim the frozen world as a protectorate. During the Clone Wars the Talz attacked arriving outsiders and destroyed both Republic and Separatist outposts. That account records a specific territorial confrontation; it does not establish that every Talz elsewhere in the galaxy attacks visitors.

Narglatches supplied mounts and protection, linking the community with a native predator adapted to the cold. Lucasfilm lists A New Hope and The Clone Wars as appearances, without supplying a comprehensive first-design history. The unofficial image retains the inspected eye-and-mouth arrangement but invents its individual belt, stance and shelter layout.

First appearances & development

Selected Lucasfilm material documents the Orto Plutonia communities and their conflict during The Clone Wars. The inspected references do not establish a complete species-wide culture or exclusive design inspiration.
