Overview
Submarimon is an aquatic armored Digimon with a streamlined submarine-like body, fins and a long rotating drill at its snout. The official reference links the form with the water-associated Digi-Egg of Reliability and describes compressed-oxygen projectiles alongside high-speed ramming. A passenger cockpit in its familiar design lets it function as transport as well as a combat creature.
Adventure 02 gives Cody's Armadillomon this form for underwater travel and confrontations, expanding the team's access to places its land forms cannot reach conveniently. Games can instead turn Submarimon into a navigational vehicle or alter the practical limits of its attacks. The official English profile contains inconsistent translated Digi-Egg wording, so this entry follows the named Reliability transformation and flags localization instead of inventing two different origins. Submarimon is therefore described as a digital creature, not a conventional manufactured naval submarine.
First appearances & development
Multiple continuities; selected Digimon Adventure 02 (2000). This entry follows the version represented by the primary works listed below, rather than treating the name as a single creature shared by every adaptation. Reference Book designs and television individuals are distinct; branching Digivolution routes vary by product and continuity.
Canon & continuity
Bandai's exact species page provides the form's reference classification, named attacks and descriptive lore. Digimon Adventure 02 supplies a separate primary portrayal of a named individual or transformation. These sources are complementary: the reference profile is not a transcript of every anime event, and localized attack names can differ from the Japanese text.

Family, evolution & connections
Digi-Egg of Reliability
The official profile identifies the Digi-Egg of Reliability as the means of this Armor Digivolution. A Digi-Egg here is a fictional transformation item, not evidence of a biological egg, parent or natural species ancestor. The English page inconsistently calls the egg Sincerity in its following sentence; that translation conflict is not silently resolved.
