Overview
Qizhong inhabits Mount Fuzhou in the Shanhaijing. It resembles an owl but has one foot and a pig’s tail. Its appearance foretells a great epidemic in the country.
The host mountain has sandalwood and gold. The single foot and porcine tail give this owl-shaped portent a specific hybrid body.
