Overview
Night Terrors are small, nocturnal Stoker-class dragons whose united display changes how predators perceive them. The official guide identifies speed, strong flight and dependence on a slightly larger white leader. At Dragon's Edge, that cooperation makes them useful sentries. Without the alpha, the group loses its defensive strength. A specialist account clarifies the formation: individual dark bodies blend into the silhouette, with the pale alpha positioned like an eye. The effect is a coordinated assembly of animals rather than proof that each dragon physically transforms into a giant.
The School of Dragons reference records a late-December 2015 playable implementation, though its header and narrative disagree by one day. Apple TV's official Follow the Leader synopsis adds a different colony: Fishlegs finds albino Night Terrors beneath Dragon's Edge and must escape after they attack the riders. That underground population qualifies any assumption that white colouring is exclusively an alpha marker everywhere. The short synopsis does not establish a fully described political society or the reason for the colony's coloration. Fire Terror game variants and named leaders are therefore left within their own presentation rather than multiplied into new species entries.
First appearances & development
The selected game year is 2015; the inconsistent December day is left unresolved. The animated Follow the Leader episode is included through its official catalogue synopsis, without inventing a release year from the combined-season numbering. The species, its white leaders and an albino colony are distinguished without inflating coverage.
Canon & continuity
Actual official species prose, indexed game morphology/history and Apple TV's indexed episode synopsis were read. Direct Apple opening was unavailable, so the catalogue body is identified as the evidence. The synopsis's colony label does not prove advanced civilisation, and the cooperative outline is not described as literal bodily metamorphosis.
