Overview
Khezu is a pale Flying Wyvern with an extensible neck and an unsettling head that lacks ordinary visible eyes. The maintained Now description supplies a more specific sensory account: sight has deteriorated, while smell compensates for it. Its tail resembles a suction cup, and an internal organ produces electricity that paralyzes prey before the neck extends to deliver a strike. These details explain hunting behavior without inventing extra sensory organs from its appearance.
In Now, Thunder and Paralysis are attack attributes, with Swamp and Tundra as encounter categories. Its ground-spreading breath cannot be blocked and paralyzes on contact. Stronger specimens mix electricity with less predictable biting attacks; slower movement still permits evasion. The head and individual hindlegs are breakable, while Fire and Poison are weaknesses. These are mobile-game rules, not vulnerabilities guaranteed across every release.
Capcom's 2010 community survey recalls dark-cave encounters without the usual battle music, connecting silence with the eyeless monster. This records player reception, not a universal soundtrack rule or firsthand designer testimony. The retained original-game and Rise bibliography places those presentations in a longer history. Red Khezu remains separate rather than transferring all its abilities to this pale form.
First appearances & development
The retained reference bibliography places Khezu in Monster Hunter (2004), with Rise (2021) as a later comparison. Newly inspected publisher material documents a 2010 community recollection and Now's maintained guide. The latter's sensory explanation and present combat instructions are scoped to that description, without claiming a newly verified exhaustive appearance history.
Canon & continuity
The complete official Now page was read, including ecology, weaknesses and body-part listings. The complete 2010 survey summary supplies the historical cave-and-silence recollection, explicitly presented as player reception. The earlier reference guide remains labelled secondary; no newly watched ecology film, inspected Rise move table or direct designer testimony is claimed.
