Overview
Kaminoans have extremely slender bodies, long necks and large dark eyes with light pupils. The species Databank identifies cloning as their central expertise and connects their work with the Grand Army of the Republic. That technological role is distinct from the soldiers' ancestry: the army's human template is Jango Fett, not the Kaminoans themselves. Expertise in producing another people's clones does not make the cloners interchangeable with their product.
Kamino's oceans and storms surround cities raised on stilts, with government and cloning operations centered on Tipoca City. Obi-Wan's investigation reaches facilities already expecting a Jedi visitor. Their army project had begun at Sifo-Dyas's request despite the Council's lack of authorization. The planet's absence from the Jedi Archives contributes to the mystery, while its production and training capacity becomes crucial to the ensuing war.
Lama Su's position as prime minister and Nala Se's scientific role show different offices within this society. Clone production brings influence, but it also attracts Separatist assaults on the facilities. The official planetary biography recounts Jedi and clones defending the center of the war effort. This is the history of a major institution; it should not imply that every Kaminoan civilian personally planned the conflict or knows all its secrets.
Lama Su's maintained biography continues into the Imperial period: Tipoca City's destruction ends his position, and imprisonment at Mount Tantiss places him under Imperial control. He offers information about Omega as a means of influencing Nala Se. His cooperation illustrates a specific political survival strategy rather than an inherited moral trait. The record of a destroyed city likewise does not establish an exhaustive census or the extinction of every Kaminoan.
First appearances & development
Attack of the Clones is the selected 2002 introduction, followed by The Clone Wars and The Bad Batch's institutional and Imperial history. Maintained official biographies incorporate these later developments. They are distinguished from older expanded-universe accounts of remote origins or population engineering, which are not imported into this profile.
Canon & continuity
The complete Kaminoan, Kamino and Lama Su Databank descriptions and relevant first-page history captions were read. They establish physical appearance, cloning infrastructure and the selected political chronology. Further gallery pages, embedded clips and an exhaustive reconstruction of clone-program conspiracies were not newly inspected; individual officials' actions retain their scope.
