Overview

The Duros Databank identifies a green-skinned humanoid people with elongated faces, no nose and red eyes. It places them throughout the galaxy, from Coruscant's political corridors to Tatooine's disreputable cantinas, and identifies Duro as their home. These varied locations establish a dispersed presence without making a single occupation or allegiance the definition of the species.

Cad Bane supplies the most extensively described individual example among the inspected pages. The official biography calls him a calculating bounty hunter from Duro whose career spans the Clone Wars and the period after the Republic's fall. His custom pistols, rocket boots, control gauntlets and breathing apparatus are selected equipment, not organs possessed by every Duros. His ruthlessness is a character judgment rather than an inherited collective temperament.

Bane's work includes stealing a Jedi holocron, kidnapping Force-sensitive children and taking senators hostage to obtain Ziro the Hutt's release. Later he is employed to recover Omega from Clone Force 99. These jobs connect one Duros with shifting patrons and conflicts. They do not demonstrate that all Duros support the Sith, Hutts, Kaminoans or Empire, or provide a neutral portrait of ordinary civilian life.

The species page lists A New Hope as well as The Clone Wars, keeping the people distinct from Bane's later named introduction. Current sources here supply appearance, broad galactic distribution and one prominent career. They do not establish detailed language, family law, settlement demographics or a shared origin with superficially similar alien peoples.

First appearances & development

The selected early screen witness is A New Hope in 1977; the maintained species listing also identifies The Clone Wars. Cad Bane's animation and later live-action portrayals develop a named member rather than debuting the whole people. This profile does not claim the first printed use of the species name or resolve all early cantina-identification history.

Canon & continuity

The complete Duros and Cad Bane Databank bodies and selected first-page biography captions were read. These substantiate appearance, homeworld, distribution and the scoped professional example. The related creator retrospective and embedded clips were not borrowed as new evidence, and the character's equipment is distinguished from species anatomy.
