Overview
Goss Harag is a large shaggy Fanged Beast associated with the Frost Islands. Its heavy forearms and broad body support forceful blows, while freezing secretions create striking blades or clubs of ice around the arms. The creature can switch between movements on four limbs and an upright stance, making the improvised frozen weapons especially prominent.
Rise uses visible changes in the body and ice equipment to signal more dangerous behavior during the hunt. Breaking the temporary weapon is different from permanently breaking an anatomical part, a distinction that matters when describing the creature's armor. Sunbreak expands the encounters at Master Rank without turning the ordinary species into a named new lineage. This account remains specific to those games and avoids repeating speculative etymology or folklore connections as fact merely because its face resembles a familiar traditional mask.
