Overview

The museum horror first presents a beautiful, humanlike head above a screen. Its unnatural expression and movement unsettle Conan before its concealed body becomes visible. It speaks an unfamiliar word he understands as an invitation.

Conan severs the head and discovers serpent coils behind the screen. The narrative connects the creature to Set's ancient children without identifying this individual as Set himself. The encounter supplies no reproductive history or complete ecology.
