Overview
Genna is Tywin Lannister’s sister and Emmon Frey’s wife. She helped care for Cersei, Jaime and Tyrion after Joanna’s death. She prizes Tywin’s opposition to her childhood betrothal without approving all his later actions.
At Riverrun she participates in Jaime’s war council, sees surviving Tully heirs as a danger, and later holds the surrendered castle with Emmon. She identifies Tyrion, rather than Jaime, as the nephew most like Tywin.
