AI interpretation of Finkol’s reported mountain-head motif.
Modern AI interpretation. Exterior landscape imagined.
Overview
Beardsley describes Finkol as the head of a snake that gave birth to Kosrae and formed its surrounding mangrove channel. Viewed from Leluh under certain full moons, the summit becomes two glowing eyes in the reported legend.
Her passage attributes this motif to Sarfert’s 1920 account, not independently inspected here. It supplies neither geological proof nor a complete snake anatomy. Menka’s separate sacred-access restriction remains intact.
