Overview
The official Boulder-class guide describes craggy skin, protected eyes and a strong appetite for magma. Living inside volcanoes keeps Eruptodons near that food source. At Caldera Cay, the local animal's feeding also protects the Defenders of the Wing from destructive lava, making it a valued guardian and object of reverence. Its strength lies in preventing a geological disaster rather than exceptional combat. The same guide includes lava produced by Gronckles among what an Eruptodon can consume. This ecological use of another dragon's output does not make the two species stages of one lifecycle.
Return to Dragon Island in School of Dragons adds a practical encounter. Valka calls Eruptodons rare tunnel-diggers and identifies pumice as a preferred food; another account links their attention to glowing objects resembling magma. Eret's past wrangling experience helps locate a wild animal on Eruptodon Island. The game ultimately offers an Eruptodon through Volcanic Finale, so the creature serves both as a solution to volcanic trouble and as a companion reward. Those quest-specific preferences refine the encounter rather than establishing an exclusive worldwide range or a scientifically measured tolerance for every heated material.
First appearances & development
The selected game witness dates to 2016, with a separately inspected undated official animated species guide. Its June release concerns School of Dragons availability, not an exhaustive first appearance across television. The revered Caldera Cay protector and the game's encountered wild dragon remain individuals within one species.
Canon & continuity
The complete official guide and indexed game quest passages were read. Valka's diet and attention statements are attributed to the game encounter, while the publisher supplies the protective volcanic role. Secondary geometric proportions, leaked pictures, shop prices and a promotional code are unnecessary to the species account and were not adopted.
