Overview

A convor has two feathered wings, a beak and two eyes, and normally feeds on insects and small rodents. The official account presents convorees as animals distributed across worlds rather than a population confined to a single famous roost. Atollon is one identified setting, where their presence contributes to the ecosystem around the rebels’ base. The ordinary feeding role is distinct from the mystical significance attached to some appearances. Resemblance to an owl does not itself establish real-animal ancestry or a shared identity with traditional owl spirits.

Morai is the important exception to an exclusively zoological account. Lucasfilm explicitly describes this convor’s mysterious connection to the Daughter of Mortis and her long association with Ahsoka Tano. In A World Between Worlds, Morai encourages Ezra toward the action that saves Ahsoka. That relationship identifies an individual and does not prove every convor can guide travellers through time. Specialist references add other animal behaviour and culturally held beliefs, but those should remain attributed rather than becoming universal magical rules. This entry groups Morai with the species while preserving her special narrative role.

First appearances & development

Convorees appeared in The Clone Wars before their later use in Rebels. This selective account does not supply an unverified exact earliest episode. Morai’s later significance is represented by the specifically identified Rebels story and official individual entry, rather than treating a whole species’ debut as the debut of its mystical role.

Canon & continuity

The official species Databank supplies anatomy and diet. The separately inspected Morai entry and World Between Worlds guide identify the exceptional relationship and action. Specialist coverage supports broader appearances. No complete animated-series review, exact creator naming derivation or universal reincarnation mechanism is claimed merely from a bird’s repeated presence.
