Overview
Colo Claw Fish wait within underwater tunnels near Naboo's core. Lucasfilm describes long jaws full of pointed teeth, clawed forelegs and a luminous tail bearing sharp projections. The creature can remain still for hours before rushing from its hiding place to seize a passing victim. Its named fish identity therefore includes grasping limbs as well as an aquatic body.
The Databank gives a length of forty metres and identifies The Phantom Menace as its screen context. This scale makes it a formidable local predator, yet the same account says it is outmatched by the Sando Aqua Monster. The comparison establishes unequal threats in a specific Naboo encounter rather than a universal ranking of all galactic animals.
Its waiting behavior explains why the underwater passage can be dangerous before anything visibly attacks. The source supplies no breeding cycle or confirmed terrestrial evolutionary model. The unofficial illustration interprets the clawed forebody and luminous, spiny tail in an invented tunnel scene; it is not a reconstruction of a photographed natural species.
