Overview

The opee sea killer pairs armor and limbs resembling those of a crustacean with hinged jaws resembling a fish's. The Databank lists a length of 20 m.

It hunts by waiting against rocky surfaces, then uses an adhesive tongue to pull prey toward its double rows of teeth.

The Databank's comparison with evolutionary traits is fictional descriptive language and does not establish a phylogenetic lineage. The creature appears in The Phantom Menace.
