Claw Grime (Boruto)

Overview

Code brings Claw Grimes against the Hidden Leaf as mobile creatures wielding the Ten Tails’ power. The official Sarada retrospective distinguishes their ordinary attack from what follows a bite: a creature can turn into a tree and envelop the person it attacked. The victim’s transformation is consequently not just an injury from claws or teeth. Boruto’s return lets him cut through attackers, while other defenders try to protect civilians from an unfamiliar threat. Their practical danger includes what happens to people after contact, as well as the number of creatures entering the village.

A separate publisher account follows the consequence further: chakra absorbed from enveloped people contributes to Divine Trees that have evolved into self-aware opponents. Those beings are not treated here as merely another nickname for every ordinary Claw Grime. The Ten Tails, the attacking forms and the later conscious trees occupy connected but different roles. This makes the creatures useful to the sequel’s story as a means of spreading and transforming a larger threat. The bounded account does not identify each victim’s eventual outcome or infer that every attacker has the same level of independent intelligence.

First appearances & development

The reference index identifies their creation in chapter 72 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations; the directly cited official columns establish their attack and transformations in Two Blue Vortex chapters 1–4. The bibliography’s 2016 and 2023 dates are series starts. They are fictional constructs, not an ordinary human clan or separate ethnic people.

Canon & continuity

Official Sarada and Boruto birthday columns identify exact Two Blue Vortex chapters for the village assault, bite/tree transformation and evolved conscious trees. The earlier creation chapter is Reference-mediated rather than newly inspected page by page. No game ability list, forum theory about the conscious beings’ identities or complete current serialization survey is promoted as canon.
