Overview
Valka's official Tidal-class profile treats alpha status as earned through combat, watchfulness and the protection of other dragons. A Bewilderbeast's enormous size helps it compete, but the guide does not describe every hatchling as automatically born a ruler. Drago's separate profile supplies a sharply different upbringing: he finds a young animal during a conquest, abuses it to enforce loyalty, and directs it against Valka's alpha. Their opposition is therefore not evidence for benevolent and evil biological subspecies. The contrast concerns two individuals, their treatment and the nests or armies around them.
School of Dragons translates the creature's sanctuary role into a stable feature. Its Bewilderbeast can distribute fish, provide a dragon-growth bonus and produce an icy reward event. The fish feature refers back to the sequel's feeding scene, while growth bonuses and reward timers are game systems. Those functions make the giant a provider within the player's environment without proving that it magically doubles an animal's maturation rate outside the game. The official profiles' earned hierarchy and the game sanctuary are related story roles, but they should not erase coercion, contested leadership or the fact that other dragons can occupy different positions.
First appearances & development
The selected film debut is the 2014 animated sequel. Valka's and Drago's Bewilderbeasts share a species entry, not two roster slots. The School of Dragons sanctuary implementation is a later licensed-game witness; its current reference does not establish an exact initial patch date.
Canon & continuity
The two complete official character bodies and indexed sanctuary ability descriptions were read. Protective leadership and Drago's abuse remain contrasting individual histories. Timer values and experience multiplication are omitted from biological traits, while unresolved weekly-versus-daily reward wording in the specialist reference is not silently harmonised.
