Besalisk

Overview

Lucasfilm identifies Besalisks by their four arms and inflatable wattle. The official portrait of Dexter Jettster shows the limbs attached in two pairs along a broad humanoid torso, with a ridged head and loose throat tissue. These visible features guide the interpretation without turning one individual's build or clothing into a requirement for every Besalisk.

Dexter owns Dex's Diner on Coruscant. His separate Databank record describes his friendship with Obi-Wan Kenobi and his identification of a Kamino saberdart, information that helps the Jedi locate the cloners. This example demonstrates practical knowledge and a civilian livelihood; it does not establish a species-wide profession or special inherited ability to identify weapons.

The species page lists Attack of the Clones and The Clone Wars. Those references provide a selected bibliography, rather than an exact earliest-appearance proof. No creator interview in this packet establishes an external design influence. The illustration depicts an unnamed individual, keeping four visible arms while inventing its workshop, clothes and stance.

First appearances & development

The selected Lucasfilm species and Dexter references establish a prequel-era screen identity. Production authorship and a definitive earliest design history remain unverified.
