Chalcides ocellatus, or the ocellated skink (also known as the eyed skink or gongilo) is a species of skink found in Greece, southern Italy, Malta, Lebanon, UAE, Israel, Palestine, and parts of northern Africa. It is also found in Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka.
