Accepted species in Catalogue of Life’s 11 September 2026 base release. This preserves the source classification and available supporting data; it is not a completed species monograph.

Large-banded blenny (Ophioblennius steindachneri), Cabo San Lucas, Baja California, Mexico. It's found in coral reefs in the eastern Pacific ocean. This species reaches a length of 18 centimetres (7.1 in).
