Linophryne macrodon is a species of marine ray-finned fish belonging to the family Linophrynidae, the leftvents, a group of deep water anglerfishes. The species lives in waters 300 to 1000 meters (980 to 3280 feet) deep in the eastern Pacific and western Atlantic Oceans.
