Overview

Tsunohanzō is pictured as a robed figure with a round object-derived head. Two narrow projections rise above the forehead, while one circular eye, an open oval mouth and small teeth create a face. The long patterned garment trails toward the floorboards. A rectangular handled object hangs beside the head, and a round vessel and loose sheets lie near its feet.

The printed title 角盥漱 associates the figure with washing equipment. Its vessel-shaped head and associated household objects support that identification without requiring a complete human owner underneath. The image’s elaborate textile pattern also places it among Sekien’s formally dressed object apparitions. This profile documents the inspected transformation and indoor composition; the exact wordplay in the accompanying commentary and any independent encounter tradition remain matters for further source work.
