Overview

Shurimon is an armored Digimon with a ninja-like silhouette, plant-associated coloration and large throwing-star weapons. The official reference links it with a Digi-Egg whose English names vary between products and whose power concerns vegetation. Stretching limbs and spinning shuriken support attacks from unexpected angles, while the large star on its back provides another distinctive weapon.

Adventure 02 presents Shurimon as an armored form of Yolei's Hawkmon, using a different artifact from the one that produces Halsemon. Its design changes not only color but posture, movement and combat method, making it a meaningful separate creature profile. The Japanese emblem terminology and localized names such as Sincerity or Purity can be confusing; this account identifies the form and its plant-linked artifact without forcing one localization onto every release. Game routes and the precise attack translations remain product-specific.

First appearances & development

Multiple continuities; selected Digimon Adventure 02 (2000). This entry follows the version represented by the primary works listed below, rather than treating the name as a single creature shared by every adaptation. Reference Book designs and television individuals are distinct; branching Digivolution routes vary by product and continuity.

Canon & continuity

Bandai's exact species page provides the form's reference classification, named attacks and descriptive lore. Digimon Adventure 02 supplies a separate primary portrayal of a named individual or transformation. These sources are complementary: the reference profile is not a transcript of every anime event, and localized attack names can differ from the Japanese text.

Digi-Egg of Sincerity

The official profile identifies the Digi-Egg of Sincerity as the means of this Armor Digivolution. A Digi-Egg here is a fictional transformation item, not evidence of a biological egg, parent or natural species ancestor.
