Nijel the Destroyer

Overview

L-Space describes Nijel, the provision merchant Harebut's son, attempting to become a barbarian hero through a short course. Tall and painfully thin, he wears thermal underwear beneath his loincloth and consults his manual at unsuitable moments.

His sword becomes stuck in a ceiling during an attempted manoeuvre. Conina repeatedly saves him when practical danger exposes his inexperience. The page's presumed marriage is not treated as established.
