Overview
The Académie des Langues Kanak includes Nemi among languages supported by its Hoot ma Whaap regional branch. Its account describes regional teams involving an academician, study officer and reference linguist, and work on writing normalization and language visibility. This is an institutional framework, not proof that all Nemi speakers use one standardized practice.
The university's 2021 bibliography lists Nemi phonological work, thematic lexicography and oral-text publications, including Ozanne-Rivierre's volumes with Poindi Tein and a Nemi–French lexicon. These references show several documentation forms and credited collaborators. The bibliography was consulted through an indexed institutional excerpt; its listed texts and narratives were not read or reconstructed.
