Overview

Narikama appears as a hairy figure whose head is covered by a large inverted cooking vessel. Wisps or curved marks rise over the pot, while the body stands beside a kitchen or hearth area. One thin arm raises a small framed picture toward the vessel. Broken dishes, containers and a small ladle lie across the floor, emphasizing a cluttered domestic environment.

The printed title 鳴釜 supplies the named witness. The pot and body are structurally joined, making cooking equipment the central feature of the apparition. This figure should not be confused with an ordinary cauldron merely making a sound during ritual divination. The inspected image supports this specific animated representation; details of an omen procedure or the interpretation of noises depend on separate textual witnesses.
