Mirialan

Overview

Mirialans are sentient beings with a humanlike form, yellow-green skin and patterned black facial markings. The official portrait shows geometric designs placed differently on two faces, so the identifying feature is the presence of such markings rather than one compulsory arrangement. No additional head appendages are established by the selected source.

Luminara Unduli's official record identifies her as a Mirialan Jedi Master who trained Barriss Offee and served in battles including Geonosis and Kashyyyk. Her apparent disappearance during Order 66 concealed Imperial imprisonment and execution. Holographic footage of her captivity was subsequently used to trap fugitive Jedi; this is her personal history, not a collective fate for the species.

The species bibliography includes the prequel films, The Clone Wars and Rebels. These references establish selected screen contexts but do not explain the origin or social meaning of the facial patterns. The illustration therefore retains skin colour and geometric markings while inventing a civilian traveller, rather than presenting Jedi membership as universal.

First appearances & development

Selected Lucasfilm screen references establish the species and Luminara's identity; earliest design authorship and external creative influences remain unverified.
