Overview
Gods quarry a bai’s parts at Lukes and work in darkness. Falling behind, Medechii Belau ignites a coconut husk and changes it into a crowing rooster.
The workers abandon their loads, explaining scattered building parts and nearby taro implements. The crow also brings lasting daylight and a rooster colour-name recalls burnt husk. Mutok’s compiled telling remains distinct from archaeological explanations of the monoliths.
