Klatooinian

Overview

Klatooinians are sentient humanoids whose skin ranges from green to brown. Lucasfilm emphasizes their strong builds, prominent brows and toothy overbites. The inspected portrait adds raised folds across a bald-looking head and a compact muzzle. Those details distinguish the interpretation from a generic human with colored skin.

The official account describes individuals finding employment as bounty hunters and hired muscle, while others had been sold into slavery. These are social situations, not inherited moral qualities. An imposing appearance does not prove that a particular Klatooinian is violent, and the reference does not reduce the entire people to one criminal role.

The Databank associates the people with Klatooine and lists several prequel, original-film and animated appearances. Its short description supplies no full political history or confirmed external inspiration. The unofficial traveler preserves the brow, skin and overbite while inventing its neutral pose, outfit and street.

First appearances & development

Selected current Lucasfilm Databank material establishes the species morphology and named homeland. Production authorship, earliest appearance and a complete slavery history are not independently reconstructed.
