Overview
The researchers’ morphological dictionary presents Soikkola Ingrian through words, phrases and sentences recorded from native speakers. The software supplies Russian and English translations, inflectional paradigms and linked audio. Its developers credit speakers’ help in collection and translation and describe the resource as continuing work, rather than a completed account of every Ingrian dialect.
Rozhanskiy and Markus study competing verb forms in Soikkola Ingrian using recordings made in the twenty-first century. Their abstract links number agreement to tense, polarity, word order and individual preferences. This dialect-focused analysis documents variation among speakers; it does not turn one grammatical standard into a uniform community identity.
