Eigigu’s sky-reaching tree

Overview

Youngest Eigigu waters a seed into a sky-reaching tree, climbs it and breaks branches behind her. In the sky, Enibarara catches her stealing toddy syrup; Eigigu restores the old woman’s sight.

Enibarara hides her in a clam shell from Sun and Thunder, then reveals her to Moon, Maramen. They marry; moon imagery recalls the couple and cooking steam explains clouds. This selected indexed government text preserves no collector attribution.
