Overview

Bodoland’s tourism institution identifies Bodo people as a regional Indigenous community with their own language. It describes weaving, bamboo craft and Bagurumba dance as cultural practices.

Its festival account connects Baishagu with the beginning of the Bodo year and seasonal celebrations. Tourism descriptions provide selected public practices, not a complete account of community life.

A January 2020 government release records an agreement with Bodo organisations. Its development promises are evidence of that political announcement, not verified later outcomes.
