Overview

Angewomon is a winged humanoid Digimon whose helmet and sacred visual language identify a powerful holy form. Gatomon's familiar transformation into Angewomon makes outward size an especially unreliable guide to developmental level: a small feline body can connect to a much larger humanoid one. The official reference supplies form-level information beyond a single partner's televised history.

Adventure gives Kari's partner a specific role in conflict and recovery, while the reboot rearranges the story surrounding recognizable designs. Angemon and Angewomon should not be treated as automatically paired sexes of one ordinary animal species. Their levels, named forms and permitted routes belong to Digimon's fictional classifications and to the particular products that use them.

First appearances & development

The selected Adventure television versions are separate from an exhaustive virtual-pet debut history. This entry follows the version represented by the primary works listed below, rather than treating the name as a single creature shared by every adaptation. Reference Book designs and television individuals are distinct; branching Digivolution routes vary by product and continuity.

Canon & continuity

The official Digimon Encyclopedia identifies this form and its design-level traits. Digimon Adventure (1999) and Digimon Adventure: (2020) supply separately identified television treatments. Reference profiles are not biographies of every animated individual; evolution routes, localized terminology and encounter mechanics must be checked against the selected product or continuity.
