Overview
The Amah Mutsun Tribal Band’s governance account identifies its constitution as signed in 1991. It describes council responsibilities, elders’ advice, youth language classes and a conservation committee connecting the Tribe with other organisations. These are a named living community’s institutions, not a description of all Ohlone peoples.
Pinnacles National Park reports Amah Mutsun and Chalon participation in eco-cultural restoration. Its community-informed account describes work with park staff to restore native plants; it also acknowledges incomplete archaeological records and protects sensitive sites from mapping.
